NFC

NFC works over a few centimetres and only while the device stays in the reader's field, which is why a scan fails if the card moves. Seedkeeper communicates over NFC and, for the card, an ISO 7816 contact reader. There is no USB or Bluetooth. See Connection and NFC Issues.
